If You Come To See Me - Poem by Jonathan Horwitz

If you come to see me again
Could I reach out and gently
Touch your face
With the back of my fingers?
Could I touch your lips
Softly with mine?
Could I stop my heart
From flooding you with my love?
Or stop it from weeping
When you leave knowing
It will always be so
If you come to see me?
