If You Only Knew Poem by Genevive Casipe

If You Only Knew

Questions must be asked but I can't ask you
For your answers are feared and I might sound foolish to you
They'd rather be kept in my mind and don't let you know

If you only know how much I need to see you
If you only know how much I miss you
If you only know how I dream of you
If you only know what you really mean to me

You were never been out of my mind
Though I was not in yours
Heart aches are not your intention
I surely know

Last night, I cried my heart out
Because I thought of you
Of course you don't know
But, I wished you knew
