If You Were Wiser Poem by Amanda Larsen

If You Were Wiser

Fight against the unevidable fall
Crash
Wonder if she was ever there
Bleed alone
Scream to no one
Frustration for the empty
She lingered you off the cliff,
Now you're feeling every bleeding piece alone...
Blame
Blame isn't hers
You knew this first
Still you believed in every lie you knew was there
Leaded by thirst
For truth
For her
For a person in this world who wouldn't turn you into dust
For love
Love towards you

If you were wiser you would fight against the fairytale
Then the real world wouldn't always hurt you so bad...
If you were wiser you would hold on to the bitterness
If you were wiser you would never be this sad...
