If only i knew that day was gonna come so soon
I would of said my goodbyes the way you did too
The last day you were here you were laying
on the couch with your eyes closed tight
i called your name and you can barely open your eyes and
when you finally opened them i could see pain in those big brown eyes
if you would of gaved me a sign i would of left you alone
i would of let you rest for these were your last three days
but then again i would of hold you tight i would of gaved you a kiss and said i love you back
everytime i pass by your bed, there is no more you, there is nothing left
i could still see you still today
watching me eat a pizza and begging for the bread
i know that your in a good place
and i will never forget your lovely face
thank you so much for always being there
my lovely dog you remain in my heart and you will always be loved even if this is the end
