Igloo For A Panda Poem by Andrew Rose

Igloo For A Panda

If White fell all around the place,
I’d take it all & make a space,
For me and you to sit and hide,
Pretend there’s no more world to die,
That loves no more than a feeling,
One of which id want to share with you,
Not send you reeling,

If White fell from a dark grey sky,
I’d take it all & build a castle high,
So we can be King & Queen of the world still dreaming,
I could kiss you,
Without
Stealing
Happiness from where it stays,
Not always replenished day after day,

If White ever did fall on our lives,
It’d probably be ash or forgotten lies,
& the sun would rise to melt any tower tall,
Put the earth back so it really is that small,

But you,

You,

I really could have,

We could have it all

*someone once thought that this was written about them, i have since realised that it was written about me
