Surely it matters not
Not known, not hurt
A peaceful life, details unneeded
Knowledge can dash hopes
Ignorance, far more comforting
Danger looms, better not to know
Ignorance anxiety blocks
Solves nothing, yet removes startles
Content with little, oh may the world be
Maybe a few less wars, we may achieve
Pleasing for the moment, suddenness looms
Blocks fear but likewise anticipation
Instantaneous ruin, little space for reaction
Regret and prolonged damage
The lot of Ignorance merchants
Knowledge hurt may provide
Preparation not withstanding makes sure
Accuracy of projection, commanded only by it
Comfort if possible, Knowledge by all means
Knowledge, Ignorance's permanent cure.
