Ignore Not Grievances Real
Of the people, from the people
Address them for public good
When, they are ignored
Bottled-up anger explodes
In the firmament
Engulfing the victim and his victims
Ponder over the seas and the desert
One form of conflict or the other
Now on the increase
Even where their leadership is scorched
The serpent has refused to die
Each cell has one grievance
Or the other, all hinging
On injustice, inequality
Lack of compassion
Some true, others false, yet
In this new year, let a compassionate
Face of governance at every level
Berth and endure
To tempers calm and cool
Allow nerves, bruised heal
And man to fellow man
In peace, dwell and harmony reign.
Anxiety reduced or even cease
These grievances may never be
All addressed, for some, righteous in colour
But, in substance, most ungodly
In the end, for the righteous separated he,
From the sinful demand, to justice prove.
