Illegal Dreams - Poem by Andrew Ian Marshall
You're tempting me to all life's pleasures
Take me to dream of the highs and the leisures
When you wake up so afraid of your dream.
The images are stronger then they seem.
I'm always thinking of the roots of my soul.
My dreams go on until I lose control
I've been to hell and took anything given
My dream will come though I've seen non heaven
In my mind I see no-one at home
Thoughts all gone, I dream alone
Take me where we can dream together.
The depths of my soul is where I'll sleep forever.
