I'm Afraid Poem by Poetic Temper

I'm Afraid

Soul hungry
So starving
They not fools
Cause they believe in prayers
Keep me in them
It ain't cool
Walking around
Being faithless
Its like I'm breathing in hell
Walking around being faithless
I'm Afraid, I'm Afraid, I'm Afraid
Mama prays mama prays
Mama pray..
My soul is hungry
I'm so starving

I see you smiling
and I'm Hungry
Stomach
Rumbling
Hurry
I think I'm dying
To love You
ReIntroduce you to my mommy
But this time as my girlfriend
Love me you said you gon visit me
More and I'm waiting like I'm in prison for
Allowing my heart to feel we strong
To conquer our fear
Your name tells
Its all said and done
She likes you yeah she likes you , honestly I feel
I love you I know it's too early
But that's just perfect timing
See Goddess inside I'm
Dying to love so afraid
and If I don't get the chance with you
My breath will lose
Home in this body
That's tears for my mom
Her fears for her child

(Is it that dark there
Is that deep to the point where
You cannot sea what you feel?)

Let me be your light
You in pain
Doesn't make me feel alright
