Time follows me around
just to tell me there is not much left.
space stalks me
just to remind me that life is empty.
love sits
and refuses to show up.
it cowers away
in the back of my mind
surrounded by fear and anger.

but with you
something changed.
all the sudden...

i have all the time in the world,
the empty space is filled with you.
anger and fear let love through.
my eyes are open to the world
and i see your beauty clearly.

now i know
i'm in love...
