I'm Poetry Poem by Joseph Cimanuka

I'm Poetry

I love poetry, it's true!
Poetry, my daddy; poetry, my mummy;
All my siblings, poetry.

I cook in poetry, and save in poetry;
I walk in poetry; I stand in poetry.
I sleep in poetry, and rise in poetry.
I dream in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I speak in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I read in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I write in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I teach in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I eat in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I run in poetry, and when I don't, still poetry.
I court in poetry, and even when I don't, still decent poetry.
There, you are that I'm poetry.
