I'm so glad that I met you, you changed my heart and mind,
You showed me things I could not see, before you I was blind,

You gave me love and friendship, you gave me trust and love,
There's no one on earth like you, that fits me like a glove,

You taught me how to love, when my heart was broke and bent,
I did not know I could feel these things, you showed me what love meant,

Your face, your touch, your hair, I miss them more each day,
If only you could have been my bride, and not had to go away.

But still I'm glad I met you, a better friend I never knew,
I see in you gods perfect work, a woman through and through.
