I live in a camp
With thousands like me
In the middle of desert
Not far from 'The empty quarter'
The largest contiguous desert in the world
Guarded by nothing
But miles and miles of nothingness
Here we live
Amid no weapon posers
No munition reinforcement
No bunker vehicles
No electrocuted fence
No check posts
No light towers
No search ops
No cordon offs
No curfewed nights
No crackdowns
No barging in
Yet as I leave them all behind
To go to my home
There is only one feeling
Freedom is the word
Imagine Kashmir
