Imperfect Prince Poem by Miranda Oney

Imperfect Prince

You aren't the strongest of them all,
Nor the most athletic.
There are those that may call
you weak and pathetic.
You drink a lot and smoke some too.
This causes problems with health.
Your clothes don't always look so new,
who even cares about wealth?
Yes, there are many features
to which I can complain.
Like your friends, who all are creatures,
who will drive me f*ckin' insane.
But no matter what irritates me,
(and please listen to this I say)
all of your other qualities are prince-like you see,
and I will love you anyway.
