My heart aches when I think of you
To feel safe in your loving arms
For you to hold me close
This is what I want the most

You have imprinted on my heart
Your radiant welcoming smile
The joy that reaches to your eyes
You are so beautiful and so wise

I wish I could learn more about you
To know your dreams and fears
You have given me more than I can say
I feel grateful for that every day

I wish that I could be in your life
To share great memories
That our worlds could combine
And this love wasn't only mine

Alas this just a dream from my lonely heart
And in my mind it must stay
I know this is impossible love I feel
But my feelings are so very real
