The chill of the winter winds
Could not stop me sweating
Something strange and different
I had been then experiencing
I for sure was apprehensive
And was also a bit hesitating
It was a straight offer from him
Said he was a friend in waiting
We knew each other for long
But the first time he was stating
I was confused and said ‘no’
And till date have been repenting
Certain things come only once
If lost leave imprints remaining
