Imprisoned Poem by Bireswar Halder

Imprisoned

Once I was thrown out in a darken cell,
In an unconscious state - difficult to tell.
After long, when I got embodiment sense,
I found my head down and legs coiled in tense.

The cell is full of filthy, bad smell,
And terrible to bear the torture in that hell.
Nobody was there to express my agony
And how long to suffer inhuman tyranny.

The long-awaited release came after long fight,
I was delighted to have a touch of new light.
A good reception with conch shell sound,
In the new world I was accepted all around.

Slowly I realized to be only in a big prison,
Where I was chained by love and affection.
Sometimes distracted by worldly deception
I have to pass life having no emancipation.

Dear judge, set me free with no more chain,
And don`t shift me from cell to prison again.
As I am very much tired with cyclic transfers,
I need only salvation and no other offers.
