Chanel Jackson

Imprisoned - Poem by Chanel Jackson

words resounding,
bouncing against
the cold, hard, eerie walls
of my brain.
Never revealed,
Barred behind them
nothing to do
but lay on a cold, hard,
uninviting bed
tallying the days
‘til I’m freed of these words unsaid.
