In Between Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

In Between

It's totally possible
To submerge yourself in spirit
Inside the river of life
It's not unusual to seek answers
In the emptiest part of your being
I am truly open to my true self
And I am content with my life
The best answers are unlike fruits
They come from one source (spirit)
You cannot find mangoes
Growing on apple trees
If you want spiritual guidance
Submerge yourself in spirit
If you want any kind of guidance
Submerge yourself in spirit
Because in spirit
You are not alone
And you are your true self
People are afraid of time
I am afraid of lack of calmness in my spirit
I depend on the calmness of my spirit to survive
I am at my optimum state when I am still in mind, body and spirit
It's true I live in between the spiritual and physical realms
In between joy and sorrow
In between me and you
In between the brackets of Love
