In Darkness Poem by Alyssa Rieper

In Darkness

Walking in darkness, no clue where I’m going
No light in sight, no people worth knowing

Falling in darkness, the dropp will soon end
But my life shall never renew or mend

Kneeling in darkness, the floor damp and cold
My heart lies broken so no secrets can be told

Laying in darkness, there’s no more spark
And the floor is left with my blood mark

Dieing in darkness, my heart stops for all time
Never to be discovered where the sun can’t shine
