Jack And Jill Poem by Alyssa Rieper

Jack And Jill

Jack and Jill
Went up the hill
Midnight skies
Deathly cries
Too young to die
But believed the lie
Life is eternal
Hell is infernal
Does not exist
Beyond the mist
Steaming the well
At the top of the hill
In faded street light
Destination in sight
A fatal shove
A childish love
A last regret
Where they once met
Jack fell down
And broke his crown
Guilty Jill
Jumped off the hill
