In darkness we worry
In the depths of silence we fear
Our past haunts us
Our past formed us

Take warmth my friend
Hold to the light
Let the past that was lay behind
Let the fears withdraw

In time of need I will hold that lamp
In time of need I will hold your hand

Ever forward ever onward
To new and brighter things
Take up the lamp to guide you
Hold high the lamp so you may see

From our fear comes strength
