In dreams the world seems perfect, without any flaws,
In dreams our unconscious mind gives us everything we can't obtain,
In dreams you are in control and existence is what you make it,
In dreams every step seems in the right direction,

Unfortunately, we must wake up to the sobering crushing feeling that is reality,
Unfortunately, you're in a haze sorting reality from that perfect world,
Unfortunately, you realise it was all just a dream,
Unfortunately, it is not congruent with the life you live,

Have you ever woken from a dream that was not unpleasant,
Have you ever woken from a dream that was perfect in everyway,
Have you ever woken from a dream that was surreal,
Have you ever woken from that dream and felt sad it was just a dream?
