In Heaven's Glow (Sonnet #242) Poem by Tina Baaklini

In Heaven's Glow (Sonnet #242)

Sublime is the love that pours from your heart,
Divine, it lifts me to celestial heights,
Cradled by tenderness your hands impart,
From your pure love my poetry ignites.

I count the moments with you, slow and sweet,
Days, weeks, months are changed to your name,
To call you soulmate makes my joy complete,
Secure I burn within your steady flame.

In heaven's glow, with you I long reside,
Its cedar groves and seas are ours to share,
Its rivers, blooms, and skies stand glorified;
Yet heaven's map unfolds within your care.

At my soul's core you dwell, tender and true,
My heart beats in beauty — it beats for you.
