In Him We Live - Poem by Peg Horan
We read our 30,000 promises to fill our spirits with Gods' way.
We arise and shine and set our pace
Through His will to make our day.
Oh yes! Dear Jesus we know you're real
Your presence is here to stay.
You promise to never leave us even though we may!
Thank you Heavenly Father for sending your spirit for each of us.
Each time we go astray
You tap, tap, tap, our conscience is filled,
A confession is on its' way.
We bow our heads,
Our hearts are heavy to carry such a load.
We give it up, we call on you
Praise God for the seeds you've sowed!
Fresh tears may fall, you've cleansed us now.
We feel so fresh anew.
Thank you Holy Spirit,
For teaching us Gods' truth,
The truth of you with blessing in full view,
Poured over all who are like you.
Chosen and capped with a crown,
"The Crown of Glory"
A reward made in Heaven
For His chosen few.
Swing open them golden gates,
We're comin' through!
