In Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

while the lovers kissed
I held myself closely to me
I told myself how much I love me
and that no one can love me better than me
for I know myself.
I told myself it better this way.

while the lovers danced
I danced till everyone stared at me
and allowed me to do my thing
I danced till I went wet.
I told my self that it ok to
dance to the moon.

when feeling lonely I accompany
my self with me
I know now, I am better
when loving myself than loving someone else.

if it happens that I feel lonely
I will know what to do,
I will hold myself and kiss
my right hand for it will write
of a lonely man accompanied by himself.

a man who believes that
its better loving oneself than
loving someone else
and expect them to love you in return
because people change, and when they do
you will be left heart broken

a man who believes that its better loving oneself than loving someone else and expect them to love you in return because people change, and when they do you will be left heart broken........love, kiss, togetherness., is, more important in life than living for oneself. dont uthink so. in my experience, if you turn to the poor and needy and love them and give them what you can, you will hve more mental peace and comfort. thank you dear poet for this poem tony
