In Memory Of Matt - Poem by kari lockhart

Ever Since you've been gone
I've cryed myslef to sleep
Lying there before the dawn
And finally not a peep!
I found out on sunday
That you were gone and on your way
All i could say is 'PLEASE JESUS NO! ! '
It was all the start of a horrible week
Nobody able or dear to speak
There were so many tears being shead
Over the fact that you were gone and dead
Days go by like years
In this troublesome time
We'll all chock back tears
Before we can shine
God took a great guy
Nobody quite understands why
Maybe some day we'll see
The reason it had to be
Matt says don't worry bout me
God keeps his arms around me just fine
Forever hold me in your memories
Even if it is just at the back of you mind
Now that I know you're safe and sound
And gods hand was upon your youth
I can pick my heart up off the ground
Considering I finely know the truth.
