In Memory Of My Father Poem by Dr Bedadyuti Sahoo

In Memory Of My Father

We do not accept your corona death
You were so popular in your village and villages
Your bicycle riding and preaching lessons
Is remembering your greatness

I was annoyed in your coming to me
Left village with your jingle jumping
Leaving my mother leaving everything
Suffered in corona and went to Him

We neither saw nor talked to you
Left heavenly world in corona queue
You have kept your palm on my head
It is enough for me to go ahead

It is not true, you have gone to Him
You must come to us for our happy staying
We are felling now who was you
Your presence was enough alerting now
