In My Floating Castle Poem by Bradi Gallagher

In My Floating Castle

In my floating castle
I float
I drown.
I am ten feet tall
I'm six feet small.
I can't breathe.
Air suffocates me.
Water surrounds me.
I'm hot.
I'm cold.
I scream.
No words escape.
Surface.
I talk.
No words are heard.
I can't breathe.
I scream.
Surface.
My screams aren't heard.
I just want someone to hear me.
Air suffocates me.
Water surrounds me.
I'm so hot.
I'm so cold.
My skin is screaming.
My lungs are gasping
To be understood
I'm not hot anymore.
I'm not cold.
I float
I drown.
I am ten feet tall
I'm six feet small.
In my floating castle.
