In My Nights - Poem by Hirak Bhattacharya
I have seen you in the nights, among the stars, the silence...
You were no one to me before I meet you.
And now your absence makes me a passionate lover...
I was like a body with eyes, hands and everything that all possess.
But it was you who made me realized that still I bear a heart below my head.
Coward, perhaps they would have said but now the courage is all that I own.
Nights, one more time so mysterious you see! because each and every night I miss you...
In my words your presence perhaps makes all the difference...
And that's what soothes me most often!
