In My Reveries Poem by jose javier berbel marin

The sun rose up happy and warm,
flooding the meadows with its gilded veil.
I saw her walking down a trail,
gracefully beneath the flushing rays.

Petals of roses danced in whirlwinds,
creating a carnival of colors with their swirl.
Playful swallows sung their songs
flittering around the vine tree boughs.

Afountain brimming with blue water,
Reminiscent of those dazzling eyes
That her face brightens with heavenly light.

From the distance I glanced, with the utter
belief that our kindred souls together must live.
Until this day comes, in my reveries I´ll find relief.
