In Our Days Of Yore Poem by Wayne Falconer

In Our Days Of Yore

Do you all recall our rock dream
Music yes music scene know what I mean
while you and I always craved more
and it all happened in our days of yore.

Did it rock did it roll man
while getting high trip was the plan
hey hey did we, didn't we obey the law
and it all happened in our days of yore.

Breathing out, breathing in the scene
was it, wasn't it colourful hippy dream
cool man cool did we know the score
and it all happened in our days of yore.

Well well I'm thinking sixties seventies trip
every mother son vowed to be truely hip
while we lived out our rockers life raw
and it all happened in our days of yore.

The night clubs parties and girls came together
never did we bother with changing weather
responsibility never rang at my or your door
and it all happened in our days of yore.

Heady intense rock was our true godchild
sometimes sounding mild other times wild
while often high we crashed upon the floor
and it all happened in our days of yore.

Creating making vibe scene was our thing
let it rock make that big red guitar ring
exploded yeah man my life was never no bore
and it all happened in our days of yore.

So lets let it ring out same man again
close your eyes you might feel very same
remember emotions once how we always wanted more
and it all happened in our days of yore.
