In Parting Poem by Ashley Dowdy (Forbus)

In Parting

Rating: 5.0

Lover, accept this kiss I lay upon thy brow
And in sealing this deal I shall part from you now
Satan fools the weak, sadly, that I am
He disguised his self in you
Knowing my hunger, and my yearning of the art that comes within passion
He gave me you in a fiery fashion
The night I loathe when we were drunkards from each other's kisses
When our limbs were tangled beneath sheets of satin
Broken is thy heart, my days I sleep away
This hole within me never to be filled again
With all the booze and so called happy pills
Just pass me my bill
Lover, you accepted this kiss I laid upon thy brow
And you whispered in my ear
PART FROM ME NOW!
