In Passing Poem by kwane Lamb

In Passing

In Passing

I really do miss you...
And all the little things you do...
I really
Do miss you.

I smelt a walker by's perfume
The scent reminded me of your own
So went to check to see if...

I had a message on my phone.

Damn! I do miss you...
How crazy is that?
I miss you, I miss you..yet.

In a distance I heard a familar voice
Ran closer to see if it were you
You calling out to me

I really do hear you and see you
From time to time
I know damn well I ain't blind

And my hearing is fine.

A woman smiled at me today
I smiled back as I walked away
Took that second look...

Her style of dress put a tear in my eye,
At that distance you cloud have said, Hi!
