In Silence -2 - Poem by Prathibha Nandakumar

It wasn't until I stepped in to the elevator that I realised

that nothing was said of the next meeting.
It was ok with me but somehow the casualness of the
silence was not interpreted in the right context and
I was called in again to explain
why I had not demanded another audience.
