In Silence With My Cats Poem by Anonymous Still

Magic happened
Through the winds
In the cold night
Sparkling moon light
Amidst an aura of angels
When me and my cats say in pure silence
Stealing looks from the comforting eyes
It was so cold
Yet the warmth of silence covered all three of us
We needing each other
An understanding amidst no words spoken
And I was left to wonder
How self conscious beings" we the humans"
Fail so terribly at love
Yet those animals offers nothing but pure love
I wonder if I should be chasing intelligence at all
I wonder why none can comfort me
And these animals did just by doing nothing
Maybe the answer lies in truth
The truth in love
And perhaps I felt the truth in the moment
The moment lasting for forty minutes
I wonder why were they so comfortable
Why I was so comfortable?
In sharing nothing but the winds, the moonlight
Perhaps it sounds funny
But they consoled me in a way no human did
A love without finding faults, reasoning future
A love just love
So if I ask you to ever do something for me
Just sit with me in silence
And let'stalk through nothing but presence....
