In The Bathroom Writing On Napkins Poem by Jaycee Wilkerson

In The Bathroom Writing On Napkins

Rating: 5.0

As I sit in this bathroom
I look to mentally remove waste
I close the door and look
In the mirror so tha Im
Stuck to face what I have become
Which Is too complacent
Here where the good
Is ajacent with the bad
Which might explain why
I always look so sad
Slouching when I walk
From carrying soo much bagage
My life is tired
So i guess you can say
Im feeling mental jetlag
Because my thoughts are
In another time zone
Mentally depleeting looking
For outlets in a closed room
Knowing I need direction
But it only can come spiritually
In closed room
Feeling lost knowing
This is a self inflicted room
Searching empty floors
And blank walls
For keys and clues
As time accelerates I
Panic realizing I am
Close to my doom
