A Message To My Mom! - Poem by Jaycee Wilkerson

You were always there
But when you needed me
I couldn't help you

I wish I could have
Took your pain
I wish I could
Have been your
Suffering substitute

I know you suffered
When you died
A part of me died too

I died because
I was a part of you
I died because
I didnt want
To part from you

I would have given
My life to watch you live
You deserved it

You had
Given soo much
Of your life for
Other people to live

I know this
To be true
I am gracefully breathing
Accepting your gift

A part of me
Has died
But I am still living
A part of you
Carries me on
I love you mom......
