In The Beginning Poem by Raymond Farrell

In The Beginning

In the beginning
Is outside the realm of science
Which does not
Deal in primordial causes
You may calculate
Induce
Dissect
Examine closely
In whatever way you wish
The so-called evidence
You may determine
The probablility
Induce
Deduce
Or exclude the possibility
By any means you wish
But whatever it is
You are researching
Is not a primordial cause
But merely a secondary effect
You may
Or may not
Believe in God
You are free to decide
But do not make the mistake
Of believing
Science
Can offer you
The proof you need
In order to come
To an absolute conclusion
In regards this matter
It cannot! !
