In The Blink Of An Eye Part Vii Poem by Alfred Ramos

In The Blink Of An Eye Part Vii

In the blink of an eye
You could miss the flight of a butterfly
Creating a rainbow across an endless sky
Losing a feeling of euphoria for you and I
If a second chance is all but lost
And excruciating pain is the final cost
Don’t stop the music, don’t lose the senses
Open the gate to your heart and mend all the fences
Stay on the path to good living
And savor the thought to keep on giving
In the blink of an eye
Many things can go awry
A precious moment swept away
A morning breeze doesn’t come out to play
And hope is one step from delusion
Keep out of the realm of illusion
Because in the blink of an eye
Love can leaves us high and dry
