In The Blink Of An Eye Part Viii - Poem by Alfred Ramos

In the blink of an eye
A millionth of a second flashes by
You couldn’t see it if you try
It’s not even the beginning of goodbye
But in that time true love can die
Somehow your heart will know why
On the blink of an eye
A tear will build up and you cry
In the blink of an eye
Your wishing star will fall from the sky
In the blink of an eye
You’ll catch a glimpse of a handsome passerby
In the blink of an eye
You’ll have a second chance to give love another try
