'In The Company Of A Woman'- Assassin's Creed Poem by Maurice Kamau

'In The Company Of A Woman'- Assassin's Creed

My people,
Never believe
That i was last seen with a woman
when they tell you so,
believe
'that i was last seen'
last
and i didn't last
and that's how far I was seen
last.

Listen to the words,
news,
shocking and breaking
TVs will say
Do not be shocked
Do not break
Just fear fear itself
do not give it room;
doom,
do not let it bloom
fight fear
and make your choice heard
heroes defend the truth
their laws they protect,
their sovereignty,
even if just with a wavelength of signal
or by a secretly saved security code.
One day
we all will leave this land
what we'll leave living will stand
and testify
But I remind you,
My people,
Mark the remark;
' in the company of a woman'
the pre-postmortem pathologists in media will put it
You know me
Do not listen to that.
eyesight,
guns,
train them toward the target;
Truth
Light
Never be swayed by the sword
That slit my neck
or by the gun
that got me and my 'woman-company' gone
Just stand
Stand with the right
Stand in the light
Stand still with the light
Stand still in the right
and let the truth be your company
be your 'woman'
Even to the painful point of no pain
Death.
