Just because I play dumb
Doesn't mean that I am stupid
Just because I fake ignorant
Doesn't mean I do not know

Walk right by the actors
Step behind the curtain
See the cogs behind the face
Look what makes things go

Look beyond my eyes
And gaze into my thoughts
See the vast spread of secrets
I'm too afraid to show

Just because I play dumb
Doesn't mean that I don't see
Just because I fake ignorant
doesn't mean that I am slow

So dont think I havn't noticed
You darting through the dark
Dont think I'll never reap
What you subtly try to sow
