In The Darkness Poem by cat rider

ive fallen down in the dark
and with every attempt
cant seem to climb up again
i see a light
i reach out
hoping to find my way back up
but end up pushed farther in the dark
what was happening
was it me

i see a light once more
reaching out just as i had before
and once again am pushed back

this seems to happen repeatedly
then finally when i have almost
given up
and lost all hope of reaching the light it apears
but not as it has before
this time it seems brighter and more willing to help

i reach out one last time
but this time i am pulled up back into the light
i look back into the darkness once more
but the light pulls me away

many years later i look back wondering
why but find no answer
and slowly the light comes again
and pulls me away
but this time there is no darkness to look back to
nothing but light surrounds me and im in bliss
