In The Depths Of The Night, When The Moon Is Lost In The Clouds Poem by Enache Dan

In The Depths Of The Night, When The Moon Is Lost In The Clouds

In the depths of the night, when the moon is lost in the clouds,
And the stars hide their brightness in a dark sky,
I find myself wandering the paths of melancholy, alone and lost,
Dreaming of you, my love, in a world that no longer exists.
A sad music resonates in my empty soul,
An echo of a love that was, but is no more,
In your eyes, once full of love and warmth,
I see only a shadow, a distant memory.
On the field of longing, where flowers no longer bloom,
I walk with heavy steps, laden with regrets and yearning,
I remember the days when we were together, happy,
And my heart cries, in an endless lament.
At every sunset, I look to the horizon, hoping,
That you will appear again in my life, like a miracle,
But the sun is lost in the sea, and I am left alone,
With our memories, and with a broken heart.
Every night, I search for you in dreams, but I cannot find you,
You are a shadow, a phantom, that always eludes me,
And I wake up with tears in my eyes, and an empty soul,
In a cold and desolate world, without you.
Every day, I try to forget you, but I cannot,
You are in every beat of my heart, in every breath,
You are in every thought, in every dream, in every hope,
And I cannot let you go, even though you left long ago.
In the depths of my soul, where love still burns,
I keep you as a treasure, as a beautiful dream,
And I wait, with a heart full of longing and melancholy,
To find you again, my love, in another life, in another dream.
