In The End - Poem by Ranock Saing

Hmm I’m standing by the window
And watching as the wind blows
I wish I could let myself let go
Despite everything I haven’t healed from the pain
In fact I feel like I’m being restrained
Trapped in this bubble and can’t go anywhere but here
In a place where I suffer and the ending of everything has come near
Soon nothing is left behind
But you’re always going to be in my mind
When will I able to forget you at last
Why not now because whatever happened is now the past
Someday in a wondrous place I hope to be
There I won’t see thee
In the end I’m left with wonder
And still trying to define the things that were left undiscovered
