I close my eyes and dreamt of you
Your green eyes light up my day
I'm so in love with that smile too
But you're a million miles away
This won't reach you in time
You've already said goodbye

I dreamt of you
Then I awoke to the untruth
I dreamt of your kiss
A moment of pure bliss
I dreamt of you holding me
Then you let go to be free
I dreamt of your smile
And I drowned in denial
I dreamt of your caress
But I am back to my own loneliness
