In The Forest - Poem by Michele Chi

Lost in the forest I stroll
In a mood of gaiety and tranquillity
The rustling leaves whispering to attentive soul,
Forest inspires originality

Lost in the forest I sleep
in its total darkness and gentleness
the breeze to my dream it creeps
Forest cradles me with imaginativeness

Lost in the forest I desire
in its hidden secrets and mysteries
the tales once beguiled and admired
Forest indulges me with fantasies
