In The Heart Of The City, Where Stars Hide Away Poem by Enache Dan

In The Heart Of The City, Where Stars Hide Away

In the heart of the city, where stars hide away,
I stroll gracefully, under the gentle moon's ray.
On streets where my steps echo like an old song,
I'm recognized, I'm admired, I'm the most beautiful among the throng.
My tie blooms like a field of lavender,
My vest shines like the northern lights, ever so tender.
The ring in my ear, mysterious and enticing,
Tells tales of adventures in distant lands, so enticing.
Dusk whispers to me ancient secrets, forgotten by time,
And my piercing gaze unravels hearts, in rhythm and rhyme.
I am an enigma, a dream, an endless fairy tale,
The prince of twilight, the master of shadows, the lord of the night's veil.
My ribbons dance in the wind, like butterflies at dawn,
My step is firm, like a king ascending his throne, drawn.
My eyes, one concealed, the other free,
Are gateways to a world filled with magic and glee.
Every night, under the moonlight, I bathe in cider,
And dream of love stories, of ancient ballads, ever wider.
I am a dreamer, a poet, an artist in sight,
In search of perfection, in search of love's light.
In this city, where time seems to stand still,
I'm recognized, I'm loved, I'm the most beautiful, with a thrill.
And every day, as the sun rises anew,
I wake with the hope of living a magical tale, so true.
