In The Hindsight Poem by Sunny Chopra

In The Hindsight

Been years four & sixty of being transiently around
A motley shaded canvas with varied hues abound

Journey's not been atypical, with winding long track
Few phases greatly valued but others set little aback

Infancy & adolescence were filled with parental joy
Romping in carefree abandon & to fullest life enjoy

Then came vocation followed with never ending race
All but about subsistence and relentless kind of pace

Unions of eternities proved short termed and in vain
All conciliations attempted yet those couldn't sustain

A sweet little bundle of fun, along the way did arrive
Gave a meaning to existence and for future contrive

Demise of the elders was a great troublesome shock
Reminding of human fallibility it came in as a knock

The siblings had own schema not much of any avail
Lesser said the better sans going into further detail

Indebted am for mercies which Lord has since served
With more than a fare share what actually I deserved
